Currently, our merge tool only supports PDF files. You can merge any standard PDF document, including those with images, text, and multiple pages. If you need to merge other file types (like Word documents or images), please convert them to PDF first using our "JPG to PDF" or other conversion tools.
Merged files can be larger because PDFs often contain embedded fonts, images, and metadata that get combined. If your merged file is unexpectedly large, you can use our PDF Compress tool to reduce the file size without significantly affecting quality. The size increase is typically due to font duplication across multiple source documents.
