These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PDFCompressFree regarding your use of the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Description of Service

PDFCompressFree provides free online PDF tools that allow users to:

• Compress PDF files
• Merge multiple PDF files
• Split PDF files
• Convert PDF to JPG and vice versa
• Rotate PDF pages
• Delete pages from PDFs
• Extract pages from PDFs

All processing is done client-side in your browser. We do not upload, store, or process your files on our servers.

3. User Eligibility

By using our Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• You will not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use our Service for lawful purposes only, including:

• Processing PDF documents that you own or have permission to modify
• Personal, non-commercial use
• Business use within your organization

4.2 Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Our Rights

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Text, graphics, logos, and icons
• Software code and algorithms
• Design and layout
• Trademarks and service marks

are owned by PDFCompressFree or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to the files you upload and process using our Service. Since all processing occurs client-side in your browser, we never have access to your content.

5.3 License Grant

By using our Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your feedback and suggestions to improve our Service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement of third-party rights
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the Service
• That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• That defects will be corrected
• That the Service is free of viruses or harmful components

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PDFCompressFree and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for:

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us (which is zero, as our Service is free) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PDFCompressFree and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Any content you process through the Service

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by PDFCompressFree. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for:

• The content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites
• Any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of third-party services

We currently use Google AdSense for advertising. Your use of our Service is also subject to Google's Terms of Service.

10. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice
• Update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page
• Change the features, functionality, or availability of the Service

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

• Engaging in prohibited activities
• At our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PDFCompressFree regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings.
